Want to Know What It Really Takes?

Hey beautiful Souls, Let’s talk real

for a second.

Being an independent artist is beautiful, but whew, it’s a lot. I’ve been pouring so much into this music-writing it, recording it, performing it from the soul. But once the music is made, that’s only the beginning.

Lately, I’ve been staying up late managing social media, answering DMs and emails, promoting this album, editing videos, resolving admin issues

, shipping out CDs… and trying to let the world know that this music I’ve created exists. And it’s good music. Healing music. Real music. But sometimes it feels like I’m shouting into the wind, trying to do it all on my own.

That’s why having a solid team is so important. You might have the vision and the voice—but if you’re doing everything yourself, you’ll eventually hit a wall. You need people who believe in you, people who can help carry the load—whether it's booking shows, handling press, editing video, or just helping spread the word.

So this is a little reminder to myself and maybe to someone else out there too: build the team. Even if it starts with one person. You don’t have to do it all. And honestly, you shouldn’t.

I’m grateful for every hand that helps, every word-of-mouth share, every person who buys the music or tells a friend. That is the team, too.
